The Short Messages System (SMS) is aimed at developing and modernizing the infrastructures of the Jordan Post Company and to upgrade its technical capabilities on one hand, and improve and diversify their services on the other.
In principle, the SMS first includes three main services: where the first service allows users to see the mail they have in their boxes; the
second service is dedicated to inform these users of the time when their mail or parcels are deposited in their post boxes through sending them SMS messages; while the third service allows the subscribers to inquire about any letter or parcel and trace them to know where it ended up and the time it took to reach it destination.
